Pattaya as a home

Pattaya is home to thousands of expats who are either working, holidaying or retired. The closest beach resort to Bangkok the most popular areas are Jomtien, Naklua, Pratamnak and East Pattaya. The city has three international hospitals  which have English speaking doctors and nurses plus other languages.

There is plenty to do for retirees in Pattaya including golf, diving schools, water sports and attractions such Nong Nooch botanic garden with plants from all corners of the world. 

Pattaya has great transport links with U-Tapao  (40 mins by road ) which will be linked by fast rail link to Suvarnabhumi International Airport which is normally 1.5 hrs drive.
